AUBURNDALE, Fla. – The Tropics SC will have its second straight top-of-the-division showdown when they host Sporting Orlando Tuesday night at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex.

The Tropics SC are coming off their most dominating win of the season, a 6-0 decision over the St. Petersburg FC Aztecs, and are the only team in the United Premier Soccer League's Pro Premier Florida West Central division without a loss so far this spring, posting a 3-0-0 mark, good for nine points.

Sporting Orlando sits atop the table with a 4-1-1 record, good for 13 points, but in twice the number of games played compared to the Tropics to date. Orlando  is coming in off a 3-2 win over Sportsparadize Soccer Academy.

The two teams have one common opponent to date, the Disney based Institute FC. The Tropics opened their season with a 2-0 win over that club, while Sporting Orlando had their most impressive win over that club, 5-1, on April 7.

Ricardo Diegues continues to pace the offense, with five goals. Kaisuke Ohata and Xavier Silva each have a two-game goal-scoring streak coming into Tuesday's game, and the team will be looking for its fourth consecutive clean sheet. Hugo Silva has two of the three shutouts, and combined with Jorge Navarette on a third.

The Tropics will have two straight Friday home games to finish the current five-game homestand, with Inter Orlando Academy visiting Lake Myrtle Sports Complex Friday, April 26, and Greater Orlando Soccer Academy visiting on May 3.
