Florida Tropics SC Announce Signing of Midfielder Enzo Marangoni
LAKELAND, Fla – The Florida Tropics SC have announced the signing of Enzo Marangoni, a native of France who has extensive futsal and beach soccer experience. Per team and league rules, no terms of the contract have been revealed.
Marangoni spent two years on the French National Beach Soccer team, and most recently played for Toulon Elite in the top futsal league in France.
“Enzo has a chance to be a real impact player for us. He has excellent skills in tight spaces,” Tropic Coach Clay Roberts said. “He is very strong in his ball control and 1 v. 1 skills as well as possessing a strong, accurate shot, all important things for indoor soccer.”
Marangoni also was a participant in the 2014 Crossfit Games. He will be available to dress Friday night when the Tropics host the Harrisburg Heat in a 7:35 p.m. start.
