Kickers FC look for big win in hosting undefeated Brandon in FSSA Premier showdown

LAKELAND – The TSC - Kickers FC - will face their stiffest test of the season so far when they host undefeated Brandon Town FC Sunday morning at the Southwest recreation complex in Lakeland.

Brandon is a perfect 6-0 in the Florida State Soccer Association Premier Division, with an impressive goal differential of a plus 23 in those wins.

The Kickers, 3-1-1, also come in after their most impressive win of the season last Sunday, a 12-2 triumph over the FC Strikers. Keisuke Ohata, Javier Silva and Teddy Auyoma all had multiple goal games in the win which left the team with a plus 12 goal differential.

After opening the season with a loss and a draw, the Kickers are on a three-game win streak.

Several members of the Florida Tropics professional arena soccer team suit up for the Kickers in the offseason, including fan favorites like Victor Parreiras , Lucas Teixeira, Maycon Franca, Jowayne Laidley and J.P. Reyes. The Tropics will kick off their third season in the Major Arena Soccer League Saturday, Dec. 1 at 7:05 p.m. when they host the St. Louis Ambush, a south central division foe.

Kickoff for Sunday Kickers FC showdown is 9 a.m. The southwest complex is located at 1444 W. Highland Street.
