KISSIMMEE, Fla. –  The Florida Tropics scored six unanswered goals to erase an early deficit and cruised to an 8-5 win over the Orlando SeaWolves in Major Arena Soccer League action Thursday night, improving to 2-0 on the season.

It is the first time in Florida's now fourth year in the MASL that they have opened the season with two straight wins. A third will be tougher as the team will travel to Milwaukee to take on the defending league champion Milwaukee Wave in a 7:05 (CST) kickoff Saturday.

Florida took a 4-3 lead to intermission. Ricardinho Sobriera opened the scoring just 81 seconds into the game with a pretty individual effort at the top of the box. His goals came 3:40 apart.

Matt Clare added two in the second half – he is the team's leading scorer now with three goals in two starts – while Antonio Manfut and Ricardo Carvalho also found the back of the net.

Orlando got two goals from Mike Da Silva and single goals from Odaine Sinclair, Richard Schmermund and Luiz Mota as the SeaWolves fall to 0-2.
