Tropics featured Saturday on first broadcast of national television deal for MASL
KANSAS CITY (Feb 1, 2019) – The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) and Eleven Sports US kick off their partnership with a South Central Division matchup between the Kansas City Comets and the Florida Tropics on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. ET.
This marks the first of at least 14 games, plus the playoffs for the MASL on Eleven Sports this season. With Eleven Sports and their OTT channel Eleven NEXT, the MASL will be delivered to over 55 million homes this season.
The Kansas City Comets and Florida Tropics are battling for playoff position already in a very competitive South Central Division. Led by Leo Gibson, Lucas Rodriguez and Nacho Flores, the Comets have won five of their past six games and hope to continue their hot streak at home.
Meanwhile, the Florida Tropics have revamped their roster with stars Antonio Jose Manfut and Matt Clare. Combining the new talent with established leaders like Ricardo Diegues and goalkeeper Hugo Silva, the Tropics look to make a name for themselves in the divisional race.
