TAMPA, Florida -- The Florida Tropics are still in first place in the United Premier Soccer League's premier Florida West dviision, and will be looking to start a new winning streak Sunday night (May 2) when they travel west to meet Tampa FC.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. with the game set to be played at Glen Oaks Park

Florida is actually in a three-way tie for first in the division, along with the PSE Conquistadores and St. Petersburg Aztecs. All three teams have 10 points this season, but the Tropics have already played six games while PSE has played five and St. Petersburg just four.

The Tropics (3-2-1) are coming off a 1-0 loss against the Conquistadores last weekend, with Florida's lineup a little thin with several of their best offensive threats sidelined. Tampa (1-3-1) is coming off its first win of the season last weekend, 1-0 over Naples FC.

Florida is back home at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex on Saturday, May 8 when they host Florida Premier FC in a 7 p.m. start.
