AUBURNDALE, Fla. – The Tropics SC will look for their sixth straight win to open their first ever season in the United Premier Soccer League when they host the Greater Orlando Sports Academy Saturday night, May 4, at Lake Myrtle Sports Park.

The game was originally scheduled for May 3, but moved to become a Saturday night soccer special between the first place Tropics SC and GOSA, who come into the weekend tilt with a record of 2-1-3, good for nine points and tied for third in the UPSL Pro Premier Florida Central East division.

The Tropics SC have started their season with five straight wins, and sit atop the table in the UPSL's Pro Premier Florida Central West division. The Tropics SC have also not allowed a goal this year, with Hugo Silva getting four clean sheets and sharing a fifth with Jorge Navarette.

Ricardo Diegues, who will suit up for the Tropics SC sister team the Lakeland Tropics in Tuesday's U.S. Open Cup game at Lake Myrtle, leads the Tropics SC with nine goals, and has at least one goal in each of the five wins.

The Tropics SC will be on the road for only the second time this season in their next start, a Mother's Day special in Jacksonville against the Armada Academy FC. Saturday's game will be streamed live at my.cujoo.tv.
